Join us Thursday 5th June, 7:30–8:45pm for a one-of-a-kind sauna drawing session led by local Melbourne artist Tait. This is a meditative, heat-soaked exploration of still life sketching, where the focus is on process, not perfection.
Inside the sauna, you’ll sketch from a curated still life display. There will be three rounds of 10-minute drawing, each guided by prompts from the artist. Each round explores something different — a new way of seeing, a new approach to mark-making. At the end of each round, you’ll toss your drawing into the fire, releasing expectations and making space to begin again.
You can expect:
A heated still life drawing session inside the sauna (yes, really)
Cold plunges to spark your senses between sketches
Watercolour pencils, paper, and prompts provided — minimal, moody, and meditative
What to bring:
Bathers, two towels, and a drink bottle
A curious mind and no expectations
