Join us for a special sauna gathering created by and for the gender-diverse community. An opportunity to connect, reflect, and celebrate our beautifully diverse bodies in a warm, welcoming, and affirming space.
We'll begin with a gentle sharing circle peer led by Saara, offering equal space to check in and share honest reflections of how we're navigating connection to our bodies, and its reflections to our outer worlds. From there, we'll move into a social sauna experience, where conversation can continue amidst the warmth of the wood-fired sauna, gentle essential oils, and traditional Finnish löyly (water on the stones).
Between rounds, cool off in the plunge pool, take a moment by the fire, or simply enjoy the company of others who understand the unique joys and challenges of living in a gender-diverse body. We'll close the evening with a guided meditation by the fire pit.
Hosted by Saara Lamberg, a gender diverse and Finnish-born filmmaker, marathon runner, world traveller, mental health advocate, and proud sauna enthusiast. Growing up in Finland, sauna has always been a place of connection, conversation, and community, and Saara is excited to share that spirit with their community.
