Join us for on the summer solstice 21st December for special three-hour cultural sauna journey led by Elizabete, a traditional Latvian sauna master who grew up learning this ritual from her mother in the forests of Latvia.
This is more than a sauna session – it’s an immersion into centuries-old Baltic sauna traditions centred on purification, connection, and nature.
What to expect:
Welcome tea and opening circle
Learn the story and meaning behind traditional Latvian sauna rituals
Move through multiple sauna rounds, with moments of rest and cold plunging
Blend your own herbal salt scrub to cleanse and invigorate the body in the heat
Craft a leaf whisk (known in Latvian as pirts) to use in the sauna for body brushing and circulation
Finish with a closing circle with light refreshments and time to unwind and connect
