Samhain sits at the threshold between seasons, traditionally marking the descent into the darker half of the year. A time associated with endings, remembrance, the ancestral, and the thinning of boundaries between what is seen and unseen.
For this Samhain Sauna, we’ll work with those themes through heat, steam, cold and ritual. We’ll begin in the sauna with a guided Saunagus, moving through three rounds of scent, steam and heat before returning to the cold between each round. From there, we’ll gather for a group tarot reading, allowing the cards to offer reflection on what is ending, what is asking to be released, and what we might carry forward.
The rest of the evening will be unhurried. The fire will stay burning, with hot chocolate and tea, marshmallows to roast, and space to spend time at the ritual table.
