Join us on the longest night of the year for a special Winter Solstice 2026 gathering at the Goose. As the dark reaches its peak and the wheel begins to turn back toward the light, we’ll gather in heat, firelight, steam, and ritual to mark the changing season together.
For Winter Solstice, Saunagus takes on a more ceremonial form. A slower, more immersive journey through deep heat, seasonal aromas, music, stillness, and reflection, designed to carry you gently into the heart of winter.
Then the evening will soften into an open winter gathering. Spend the remainder of the night however feels most nourishing, lingering in the warmth of the sauna, gathering by the fire with a hot chocolate or chai in hand, or easing into quiet reflection beside our seasonal ritual table, filled with small prompts, offerings, and space to honour the turning of the season.
You can expect:
A ceremonial Winter Solstice Saunagus journey
Guided rounds of heat, seasonal scent, music, and ritual
Cold plunges and outdoor showers between rounds
Optional additional sauna time after the guided experience
Firepit hangs with hot chocolate, chai, and marshmallows for roasting
Seasonal reflection table with small rituals, prompts, and offerings
What to bring:
Bathers, two towels, a water bottle
Bath robe and slides to stay comfy in cold breaks
